Differential extrusion process for pipe fitting elbow is to realize differential flow of inner and outer arcs of pipe billet at the die opening through eccentric design of pipe billet, thus pipe fitting elbow by bending. Through eccentric design of tube blank, differential flow of inner and outer arcs of tube blank can be realized. By comparing and analyzing the simulation results of different loading schemes, the influence of different loading paths on the bending curvature of pipe fitting elbow is obtained, which lays a solid foundation for further research.

The forming characteristics of pipe fitting elbow by differential extrusion were studied. Pipe fitting elbow was found that the cross section of the formed elbow was not flattened, the wall thickness was uniform, the error requirement was met, and the residual stress was small.
