Difference between long weld neck flange and integral flange
The height of the integral flange is higher, and the thickness of the wall is thicker, which can be clearly seen by the flange reference standard. In application, the integral flange is a flange attached to the equipment, such as a flange on the valve, which is integral to the valve, not welded. The whole flange is mostly used in the manufacture of equipment, and it is hardly used in piping design. The long weld neck flange is used when connecting with valves, pumps and other equipment. It is welded to the pipeline, and the dimension of the tail joint is the same as the outer diameter and wall thickness of the corresponding pipeline/parts, so it can be directly butt welded.
